I've decided for Nyx to have duel models, so expect to see the lovely faces of Diana Moldovan and Anna Christine Speckhart. I just couldn't decide whom I liked better.

- The king has fallen ill, he hasn't left his chamber in a fortnight and the seer's of Apollo are suggesting a king will fall. The house of Zeus is already preparing for mourning. The great houses are stirring, the winds have changed and this won't end without blood.

At first, there is triumph.
I can taste it in the air the moment I walk into the courtyard where my father stirs like a black tornado, covering anything that cannot be suffocated with his shadows. I know better than to ask why he looks so smug and foolish; I would most prefer to not have to know at all. But it will not take long for his frowning dry lips to spill their gloating secrets:
“He falls ill. I can feel his spirit stretching the boundaries of Hades.”
He? Who? There are thousands of enemies whose deaths would send my father to such disgusting glee. My look conveys a small hint of confusion, but he does not notice. Too absorbed in himself, like usual.
“This is our chance!” Father yells, and for a moment I am the one caught in his tornado – he is embracing me, kissing my forehead.
I spit on the ground in disgust, and he seems to recover his usual touch of disdain.
I am not the favorite child to share joy with. I am not Delphine, who would already be ahead of him, planning the death of this man I do not even know of. Nor would I have celebrated the possible advancement of our house alongside him like Kyron.
He knows that now, and its reflected in the death of his eyes. He remembers who I am. The dirty, tainted, demon that is his youngest and frailest. The girl he named of Darkness and Shadows in hopes she would rise to conquer them. The girl who instead drowns in them, lets her soul be consumed by them.
“The King will die,” he says numbly and turns to find someone who will delight alongside of him.
The King will die.
It hits me like a dagger that plunges deep and twists sharply. Without Regas, the kingdom will fall to chaos. There will be revolutions, famine, war…The gods will stir with the rising of a new age and a new air.
I fall to the ground, clutching tightly the pain in my stomach.
But for once, it is not my weakness that leaves my head pounding and twirling or my blood curdling in my veins.

Since his father became ill and left the court, Eriar takes care of princess Delphinium who was posing as a simple chambermaid. He doesn’t know such word as ‘sentiment’ and he will do anything to realize his father’s plan. This cold-hearted, passionless revolutionary knows a lot about human nature and he quickly discovered that princess Delphinium has some warm feelings for him. Eriar thinks of Del only as of a puppet in his hands but he knows that every day she gets stronger, cleverer and more independent. Worst of all, Delphinium is not really sure if she wants to become a queen. And Eriar is ready to turn her innocent love for him into his greatest weapon.

I wake to a sudden burst of cold pain that sends a shutter down my small frame and seems to immobilize my very soul.
But I do not scream. Not that I can anyways; my lips and throat are chalked dry.
This pain is familiar.
The chill subsides and replaces itself with the feelings that have cursed me since infancy. My chest catches fire and burns with the intensity of the deepest pits of Hell. My legs and arms lay useless at my side, for they are an unmovable burden.
Reality sinks in like the cold gray sorrow of my ashen face.
For today, and quite possibly tomorrow, the only sight will be the darkness of my caked-shut eyelids. I will not be able to even lift a finger. My cursed sickness will trap me into the cave of my bed. What was once a comfortable haven will be the prison where my body will be mercilessly tortured.
Except there are no guards to plead escape to. There are no rich fathers ready to pay my fine and set me free.
My suffering is involuntarily self-inflicted; a curse, I suspect, that was bestowed upon my mother and passed down to me from Hades himself. He loathed her power and loathes mine now. And although my father may have a cure, and the god most certainly does, they fear giving it to us. They know what we are capable of.
And unfortunately for them, I do too. There is something outside this murky place, outside the prison of my flesh, that will set me free and change my life forever.
As another lightning bolt of pain spasms through my pale limbs, I think only of my future outside of this place. And I am happy.

Loud and usually drunk, Vei knows the only thing more fun that war is the s*x that comes after it. Which is why as clever as she is Vei has opened up a brothel right down the street. It makes her Lady upset but Vei grew up poor and is determined to not die the same way. With the war brewing her business venture is the most popular brothel in Olympiad and has the honor of servicing many of the lord's that come to call on Lady Aza. Slippery as a snake, Vei has mastered the art of brute warfare but she also has quiet a skill for playing the lying game that royals seem so fond of.

bio; Tamorjin has a skilled sleight of hand that she learned from her father from a very young age. Her mother is as mysterious as her father’s death, but she’s been using the tricks of the trade to survive since she was eight. Conning people is what she does best. While it frequently gets her whatever she wants and needs, it also means that she is forced to constantly hide and be on the move. It’s true to the travelling ways of Hermes, she tells herself, but secretly she wouldn’t mind settling down and finding a home. But Tam, or Jin or a million other made-up names, can’t seem to break away from the thief life she has built up for herself. She can never pick a side which can be quite a problem in the underground world. As she’s finding, her indecision could also mean the death of her in court too. Although she tries to avoid the conflict of royalty, power and money draws her in like moths to a flame. She’ll have to keep all of her wits about her in order to survive the storm that is on its way.

bio; The only living daughter of Lady Harlum Head of House Hermes, though she is said to have eight dead sisters who were over twice her age, though her mother would never tell her. Lady Herei is the heir to the house and now is the captain of the largest fleet of river boats her house has ever seen. The other nobles call her the Lady of Thieves due to the fact that on occasion her fleet ventures into the other house lands and take all they can find. No one ever gets sufficient proof though, given that no one is left alive. To her people Herei is called Ghost for her natural ability of thievery something the god Hermes is patron of. While you could argue that Herei was just as powerful as her mother but Herei is an heir that will never get her title. Unless something should happen to her immortal mother.

bio; Kataeri holds her foot in the court world with little blood, as her father is just a small, powerless lord on the outskirts of the territory, but with as much force as a hurricane. She is a seductive and manipulative girl who’s absolutely fierce in combat and could drink anyone, skinny girl or brawny boy, under the table. But when guys are around her, they don't need any amount of alcohol to feel infatuated. She radiates a sort of beauty that melts anything in her presence, and Kataeri da'mn well knows it. She's putting the stereotype of relaxed, in tune with nature Demeter house to shame as she parades around in her revealing outfits and daring smile. She's the girl to go to for a fun time with anyone because, really, she doesn't care who you are; she hardly cares what you are. Anything that seems to lead to a good time attracts her attention. Tread carefully, because she has no problem with using boys {or girls, even if a lot of them hate her} for her own enjoyment. But perhaps the most scaring about Kataeri is her past. When she was ten, her mother killed herself in front of her, and she's never perceived the world through a positive eye again. For her, there really is a blackened heart that thumps in her ribcage, and she's just getting started.

bio; When Demi was only a babe, her mother, father, and all her little lordling brothers died in a barbarian raid. Demi was saved from the same fate, blessed by her god. But Demi sees it as no blessing. She is heir to all of great farmlands and many men would kill someone to be a lord. Even if it is the lord of the house Demeter. She and her sister have been put on display since they were ten to all the possible lords of Olympiad. She has been a clean proper lady her whole life, only getting dirt on her hands during the spring and fall plantings. Demi knows this isn't what the leaders of the house of Demeter should be like. They should work on the fields all of the time to worship their goddess not sit in their posh stone castle just waiting for a worthy man to propose to her so that she can taker he place as rightful heir. Demi couldn't care less if she got married, though her uncle seems to be doing all he can to prevent it from happening without being treasonous. Demi keeps a garden of her own in her chambers but planting flowers in small pots isn't enough for her. All she wants is to take her rightful place and restore her house for her goddess.

Many say she will grow out of it and that with maturity she will settle down, but her parents know better. There is a stubborn fire in Ophelia to do as she pleases. As she sneaks about to enjoy herself and uncover inspiration, she might find herself amidst a turmoil that reaches far beyond her wildest imagination.

Cypress takes his word for truth and has tried to warn the people she cares about. But unfortunately her teacher has lost respect in his house's eyes, with rumors of his paranoia and how he suffers from madness. The two have become a laughing stock of the house and some even talk of getting a new Grand General. While Cypress has ambition she knows she is not ready for the title yet. When she isn't learning about warfare she spends her time training with her father's axe that he gave to her when she was younger. Bother her parents were killed in the last great war. The Grand General is all she has left.

Her family is now the troop of young girls she has to keep alive in the forrest. Lately Lya has noticed strange things happening in the forrest. The creatures of the forrest are restless. Some have even gotten aggressive towards their protectors. Lya knows something terrible is coming, and that this war will not just be between men.

She's putting the stereotype of relaxed, in tune with nature Demeter house to shame as she parades around in her revealing outfits and daring smile. She's the girl to go to for a fun time with anyone because, really, she doesn't care who you are; she hardly cares what you are. Anything that seems to lead to a good time attracts her attention. Tread carefully, because she has no problem with using boys {or girls, even if a lot of them hate her} for her own enjoyment. But perhaps the most scaring about Kataeri is her past. When she was ten, her mother killed herself in front of her, and she's never perceived the world through a positive eye again. Demi keeps a garden of her own in her chambers but planting flowers in small pots isn't enough for her. All she wants is to take her rightful place and restore her house for her goddess.

This lady has a temper that has been known to have deadly consequences on more than one occasion. Look at her sideways in the hallway – lashing. Bring her the wrong dress in the morning – banishment. Tell her things she doesn’t want to hear….well, there’s never a punishment on record, but bearers of bad news have been known to face terrible accidents shortly thereafter. She constantly trains to face her test of the Three Shades of Hades with an eerie calm and gritty determination. She claims that since surviving this is her main priority, she does not have time for anything. Cassiopeia avoids social events of all kinds to her parents’ dismay with the excuse that she’s going to marry the heir of Zeus; therefore there is no need to look for another husband. However, there is a soft underbelly to her shell of cruelty and hard work. It has just been covered in armor and reinforced by her intense desire for power. Lady Cassio has never allowed herself to dream of another way of life, but the possibilities might open themselves to her without her even noticing.

She envies her sister, a wet dull girl who doesn't deserve the kingdom. Nymeria spends most of her time figuring out how to get her awful sister out of the way so she can have the kingdom. With her pretty face and her graceful airs no one would bat an eyelash if Nymeria took her sisters place but the tradition is rigid. It is the first born...unless something was to happen to her older sister.
